The 2019 Future Engineers participants arrived in the UK on August 15th, and at the moment they study the British National STEM Center courses, the exciting Chinese and British youth battles officially kicked off. So far, Chinese and British participants have fully prepared for the competition. The Chinese participants took the form of “STEM Education + Technology Experience + International Competition Exchange”. The participant visits the cities of York, Oxford, London and Cambridge. From the national education, art development, urban architecture and human civilization in terms of depth, experience the history of STEM development in the world, and the practical application of STEM in the forefront of the UK.
The places visited include the UK National STEM Learning Center, Oxford University, British Museum, London Science Museum, etc. Courses and activities include STEM Education International Strategy and Innovative Talent Development, UK STEM Course, AI Programming Learning, World AI Development, Arm programming foundation and more.

Day 1: York STEM trip
On the first day, the students came to York to visit and study at the National STEM Learning Center (the centre for the UK national STEM teachers). The group was divided into secondary and primary schools for different ages. Students in the segment are given appropriate STEM subjects. The UK National STEM Learning Center is the largest professional supporter and provider in the UK STEM field and has academic exchanges and cooperation with schools and institutions around the world. During the visit to the STEM Center, Professor Mark Langley (CPD Leader of the National STEM Education Center in the UK) taught the students the "STEM Education National Strategy and Innovative Talents Training" course. The professor combined practice with theory and guided the students in a simple way. How do we conduct STEM learning? The British National STEM Learning Center has never received a juvenile group before, and the classmates and teachers have cherished this opportunity.

Day 2: Oxford Art Tour
On the second day, the students came to Oxford University, the world's top university. Under the guidance of team leaders, they learned about the contribution of the higher education system to British and human civilization and technological innovation in British history. In the afternoon, the students visited Oxford University Ashmolean Museum - The world's first public museum to learn about the development of important elements such as art history.
Day 3: London Human Civilization Tour
On the third day, we came to London, the capital of the United Kingdom. In addition to visiting the landmark buildings like Big Ben and the London Eye, along the STEM theme road, we came to the British Museum, the professional teachers gave the students lessons from the perspective of STEM, learned the curriculum of human civilization inheritance and scientific and technological progress.

Day 4: London Science and Technology Tour
On the fourth day, students and teachers came to the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), the world's leading professional academic society in engineering technology. Currently, there are 167,000 members in 150 countries around the world. The students first visited the internal area of the IET headquarters. After the visit, the experts from the Institute Headquarters gave a lecture on the topic “innovative development in the field of engineering technology”, which well benefited the students.

Day 5: Cambridge STEM Practice
On the fifth day, we came to Cambridge and started a five-day STEM in-depth professional course with the final day of the competition. On the first day of class, the students came to Cambridge Computer Center, a pioneering educational charity and a science museum that excels at exploring the impact of the information age on society, culture and history. contribution. The students learned and explored the mysteries of computer history under the guidance of professors.
Day 6~8: Cambridge STEM Courses
On the sixth and seventh days is the two-day arm pre-match training course. On the sixth day, the Chinese and British players joined for the first time to learn the STEM course from Arm. The Chinese and English players were studied artificial intelligence in the two-day course, which is part of the basic knowledge of programming in the field of IT learning. The course uses a graphical programming language based on the Micro:bit platform to help children learn how to operate quickly. This training is the same as learning at the STEM Learning Center, after learning the theoretical knowledge, the children use the time to practice and actually create the basic model of one device with both hands.
On the eighth day, the students came to the Cambridge Science Park and were taught by Professor Pietro Lio of the University of Cambridge in the auditorium of the Science Park. They taught the students the development of artificial intelligence in the world of science and technology. Professor Pietro is a professor of computational biology at the University of Cambridge. He holds a PhD in genetics, a PhD in Complex Systems and Nonlinear Dynamics from the Department of Artificial Intelligence at the University of Cambridge, Master of Arts in the University of Cambridge and works in the Department of Computer Science and Technology at the University of Cambridge. In the classroom of Professor Pietro, the students studied the development trend of AI and how AI survived with human civilization. In the afternoon, they entered an intense preparation and rehearsal for the challenge the next day.
