
In summer 2018, First Landing Education has successfully held the 2018 “Future Engineer" Youth STEM Maker Challenge UK at Cambridge, with the support from National Youth Future Engineer Expo and Competition Organizing Committee, The Institution of Engineering and Technology, National STEM Learning Centre and Cambridge Science Park.
This year, 2019 "Future Engineer" International Youth STEM Challenge will be held at the sports centre of University of Cambridge on 24th August 2019.
Highlights
Those who complete the competition, will receive a certificate of completion issued by Arm Ltd (signed by NIES, IET and other professional institutions)

Introduction

Arm-based ‘Internet of Things’ Creative Design
Theme of the year - Space Exploration
Through the study of computer programming and Internet of Things (IoT) system, students will be able to finish the project and compete with each other. This not only help them improve their collaborative and interdisciplinary problem solving skills, but also develop their critical thinking which allows them to think out of the box.

Creative Chinese Flower Window (Chinese classical garden architecture)
Contestants are required to complete two tasks on the Creative Chinese Flower project.
The first task is to design and create a model of British architecture using 3D printing (prepare it before the challenge).
The second task is to handmade a Chinese traditional flower window.
In order to complete the challenge, students need to place the British architecture created into the Chinese traditional flower window.

Science Drama 1+1
The project is to recreate a rapid scientific development process. This is to emphasize the perfect integration of science and technology and art. To advocate reproducing the development history of science and technology. The project will improve students' innovative spirit, tapping their innovative potential, and their artistic accomplishment.

Science Fair Competition
Through participating works, it embodies the concept of "Love Creating "of “Heart of Benevolence", "Light of Creativity" and "Beauty of Creation". It fully shows the students' attitudes towards innovation and exploration, practical ability, open and shared ideas, the ultimate study of technology and the unremitting pursuit of a better life.
